Our group of friends couldn’t believe the sparkling Caroline Upton, my youthful partner in crime, might someday accessorize with medical wigs. Her trademark hair and fashion was synonymous with her indomitable look. Have you seen her lately? Miss Prim n’ Proper will always be the center of attention for her style. Not many in town can tell she lives confidently wearing well-crafted African American wigs. Guess it’s no secret anymore.
When we were young girls in Arizona, we always stole the spotlights to every dance. Five years later, her alopecia started acting up and her hair wouldn’t be the same. I suggested some invisible lace wigs. Even so she shrugged it off. What a strong soul, she somewhat obnoxiously unveiled her attitude.
Appearing at her boyfriend Jacob’s rugby game, we taunted the players until a numbskull retardedly flung the sphere (or whatever they play with) at the crowd. With quick reflexes she dove for the ball and her head scarf flew right off, revealing her thinning hair. Like nothing happened, she tossed the ball into the goal. She’s that kind of girl.
But, nobody is perfect. Months later we got together for a game of bridge, where she sat me down and confided that she would rather go bald out of anger. She would never consider medical wigs, even if she wanted her hair back. Then just like that our fearless protagonist turned flush red and demanded that I it was silly. She really needed help.
We got so worried about her. Later on, I talked about getting her a new wig. Finally we both ended up with an agreement: we were going wig shopping! We have a knack for making online wig shopping fun.
We had a great time, flabbergasted by the options. She never knew that human hair wigs could be this fashionable for people, even superstars. These women’s wigs were exactly what she needed. I pieced together a comprehensively modern ensemble to go with our wigs. We stand together, forever and always. Recently she thanked me for her human hand-crafted human hair wig, and confessed it invites new vibrance in her life. It’s touching to watch her reclaim her beauty. And she’s still got the attitude.
